Learn and Practise English Grammar 1: Student's Book (Beginner)Learn and Practise English Grammar 1: Student's Book (Beginner)

"Learn and Practise English Grammar" is a four-level series of grammar reference and practice books. The series has been designed to be used either on its own or with any Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate Course. Grammar points are clearly presented without lengthy explanations. The grammar exercises increase in difficulty to give students graded practice of each grammar point. At the end of each unit, there is a communication activity and a writing talk which allow students to use the grammar learnt in a realistic situation. "Learn and Practise English Grammar" has been carefully researched and written for students who need grammar practice at these levels.

Teaching English Grammar - What to Teach and How to Teach itTeaching English Grammar - What to Teach and How to Teach it

This book gathers together practical teaching ideas and key information about language in order to help you prepare and teach grammar lessons. I hope that it will save you time, energy and stress and help you to feel more confident, well- informed and one step ahead of the students. Modern coursebooks are generally excellent but sometimes we (and our students) feel the need to step away from their texts and exercises. Rather than using coursebook material to introduce a new grammar point, you may want to do a ‘books closed’ presentation on the board - or add in an extra practice activity. You will find lots of ideas here to help you present and practise grammar points.

The English Verb: An Exploration of Structure and MeaningThe English Verb: An Exploration of Structure and Meaning

This is not a conventional grammar book. It is intended mostiy for teachers who are teaching English as a foreign language, and also for students who have been confused by teachers, textbooks or other grammar books. It is not a comprehensive grammar the second part of the book discusses the basic structure of English verbs. It examines, chapter by chapter, the important basic “building bricks” of the English verb. Again, it does not cover all possible verb forms. It does, however, discuss the important underlying ideas of English verbs in detail.
