Reciprocity in English: Historical Development and Synchronic Structure

Although the grammatical expression of reciprocal (or ‘mutual’) situations in the languages of the world has received a surprising amount of attention in recent years, so far no comprehensive study specifically dealing with the historical development and synchronic structure of English reciprocal constructions has been published. This book takes into consideration insights from the three major research projects on reciprocity in the languages of the world as well as the rich literature on more specific aspects of reciprocity.

Nightfall: Radio dramatization

Radio dramatization of NightfallRadio dramatization of Nightfall

Isaac Asimov's classic short story

This is the dramatization of Asimov's orginal 1941 short story, broadcasted in 1950 (very good quality). It is about  a world called Kalgash that doesn't know what a night is due to it's six suns. But darkness is coming and fear is the companion that may prevent the planet's civilization from seeing the stars for the first time.
The story was turned into a novel by Robert Silverberg in 1990 with Asimov's blessings and assistance but no dramatization has been made of it, as far as I know.

The Feudal Kingdom of England 1042-1216, 5th edition

Now in its fifth edition, this hugely successful text remains as vivid and readable as ever. Frank Barlow illuminates every aspect of the Anglo-Norman world, but the central appeal of the book continues to be its firm narrative structure. Here is a fascinating story compellingly told.
At the beginning of the period he shows us an England that is still, politically and culturally, on the fringe of the classical world. By the end of John’s reign, the new world that has emerged was in outlook, structure and character, recognisable as part of the modern age.
