Phrase +Phrase + We usually find "‘to"’ with a verb (as part of the infinitive form). However, when "to" is a preposition which is part of a combination ( phrasal verb, prepositional verb, idiom, adjective + preposition) , then it is correct to use a gerund after it. This list includes some of the most commonly used phrases containing the "to + gerund" formula. They will help you sound more natural.
