This workbook is intended for children who are beginning to learn English as a second or foreign language. Its aim is to encourage pupils to learn the language as a means of communicating with the teacher and with each other.
The stimulus is provided by games, and a variety of activities and picture puzzles, which, in motivating the pupil to find solutions, encourage him to practice the language used for making guesses, forming judgements, expressing agreement or disagreement, asking and answering questions, etc. Vocabulary and structures are systematically revised throughout the book.
This is the first time I have bought this and I was very impressed with the content. All the articles are interesting and informative and most of the materials used are readily available in the UK. It is naturally quite Americanised but still relevant to the UK. I would encourage anyone interested in crafting altered art.
