Taboo: The Game of Unspeakable Fun (All New Cards)
It sounds so simple: get your team to name common words without voicing a few choice descriptors. But could you describe a wristwatch without mentioning time, wrist, or clock? Taboo rewards those who think--and speak--fast.
The Kitchen is a theatre play performed by UKLA Children & Youth Theatre in Turkey. The main target of this project is to increase motivation of learning English and present alternative ways for practice.
These game cards are another part of the project. They were prepared by UKLA Creative Team.
Playway to English is a four-level course for teaching English to very young children from beginner level upwards. Playway to English uses the SMILE approach: - Skill-oriented learning - Multi-sensory learner motivation - Intelligence-building activities - Long-term memory storage of the language through music, movement, rhythm and rhyme - Exciting sketches, stories and games Children learn to use English confidently through listening and speaking, before they are taught to read or write. Language is presented through video (or audio cassette/CD where video is not available), picture cards, story cards, songs, rhymes and stories.

The game is for pupils new to English to familiarise them with some of the language that they will need to use at school. Items to be printed 1. 4 sheets of A4, this will make up the base of Going to School Board Game. 2. 3 sheets of A4, each sheet has 9 playing cards, this will make 27 in total. 2 sheets of A4, teaching notes.
