A stimulating reading skills book for pre-intermediate students. Based on slightly adapted authentic texts, the material is carefully designed to develop a variety of reading skills and encourage students to enjoy reading in English.

This book consists of 16 units, each with an authentic reading text and an accompanying exercise to develop reading skills. Various texts and topics such as adverts, newspaper and magazine extracts, book extracts, technical and text material, poetry and interviews are included to stimulate interest. It iincludes sections for comprehension and discussion and details on grammar and vocabulary.

When you approach a work of fiction the way you do an e-mail or report or newspaper, you miss out on all of this. You're not getting everything you should out of the reading experience.
