This is the first book of a three-level listening and speaking course that has a functional syllabus focusing on everyday language. Students listen to dialogues in the context of common, real-life settings and scenarios, practicing key functional expressions and descriptive language. Students learn to introduce themselves, describe people, things and activities, provide and ask for information, make small talk, ask for and give opinions, make suggestions, etc.
