narrated by Kerry Shale Gibsonton, Florida is not an ordinary town as FBI agents Mulder and Scully learn when they investigate a murder there. The story is basically three short stories set in the Mississippi, New Orleans (pre-Katrina) area. The stories are chronologically laid out. They follow the adventures of Barbera (call me Barb) as she is recruited into a secret organization (ala X-Files) that fights demons, vampires, werewolves as well as other lesser known manifestations of the Supernatural.
It is an American remake of the British mini-series from 2006 (the one of 4 episodes only, starring Patrick Stewart aka Captain Picard from the Starship Enterprise :P)). The American series of 18 episodes is definitely more Hollywoodian in style, and adressed to younger public. A government scientist and his attractive counterpart try to save people from deadly scientific experiments... Amateurs of science thrillers, X-Files and secrets-and-evil-scientists will enjoy it. - stovokor Parental guidance. Recommended age 12+
