The Eye of Calanish
The Eye of Callanish is set at the beginning of the twelfth century on the Island of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, off the west coast of Scotland. It tells the story of a young girl, Mairi. She believes that she is able to communicate with the ancient people who built the temple of Tall Stones at Callanish. Mairi is aided in her escape from her persecutors by Neil and the hermit Brother Durston, who we first met in Weapons of the Wolfhound. On the way they face many dangers and frightening situations. But just who are these ancient people that Mairi is communicating with? Where did the beautiful white horse appear from? And whose is the dead body in the cleft?
There was nothing in Foster's career as a playwright that would prepare him for covering a political trial in Eastern Europe. But when he is asked by an American newspaper to report on the trial of Yordan Deltchev, the former leader of the People's Party now facing charges of treason, he cannot resist the challenge.

The workplace is a "blink" world. Studies show we form opinions of one another within 7 seconds of meeting, and that 93% of the message people receive from us has nothing to do with what we actually say. Good nonverbal communication skills are therefore a huge professional advantage. Author Carol Kinsey Goman combines the latest research and her 25 years of practical experience as a consultant, coach and therapist to offer a fun and practical guide to understanding what we and the people we work with are saying without speaking.
