This specialist handbook is intended as a quick and easy reference guide to be used by individuals and organisations that are involved with the production of food, from both agriculture and horticulture. It is designed to be used as a reference book that answers basic questions about how food is produced from plants, and aims to demystify the subject of growing food as far as possible. Thinking Again: Education After PostmodernismThinking Again: Education After Postmodernism

The postmodern condition, in which instrumentalism finally usurps all other considerations, has produced a kind of intellectual paralysis in the world of education. Dark WaterDark Water

Dark Water is a collection of short stories originally published in Japan as Honogurai mizu no soko kara , From the Depths of Dark Waters). Suzuki places very little emphasis on the supernatural aspects of the plots, although there are those aspects, to be sure. He is more concerned with the atrocities committed by humans themselves rather than by otherworldly forces. There are themes of urban decay, family troubles and domestic abuse running throughout the stories. The characters themselves are often selfish, cruel and self-absorbed. Suzuki uses these characters to explore emotions such as rage, fear and longing.
