The Teacher's Book clearly explains how to use the Total English package. It contains many worksheets that can be photocopied, as well as suggestions for activities and extensions for each unit, and summary tests. The Teacher's Book makes everything seem straightforward, which is highly useful, but - conversely - it highlights the problems with the Student's Book.
English in Mind is a four-level course for teenagers. Each level contains 16 units grouped into four modules. Clear learning objectives at the beginning of each module, plus 'Check your Progress' sections at the end, help students and teachers plan learning more effectively. Each level of the course provides 80-90 hours of class work with extra photocopiable activities and tests in the Teacher's Resource Pack. The course can be used with mixed ability classes and offers dual entry points.

What is RICA? The Reading Instruction Competence Assessment® (RICA®) is a test given to some new primary and secondary school teachers in the state of California. Individuals must pass the RICA® test to earn the credentials needed to work in special education programs or teach multiple subjects in school. The primary objective of the test is to make sure that teachers possess the skills necessary to effectively teach reading and evaluate students' abilities to comprehend material. The RICA® contains 70 multiple-choice questions as well as five essay responses of different lengths.
Most of the challenges facing the environment are due to the fact that the human population is straining the Earth's finite resources. Fortunately, preteens and teens are in a stage in life where they can embrace idealistic goals and get involved in causes that are important to them. Science teachers have the opportunity to empower their students and put them on the road to making positive changes to the environment.
