Entry 3 Skills for Life ESOL Student Workbook

Entry 3 Skills for Life ESOL Student WorkbookEntry 3 Skills for Life ESOL Student Workbook is the THIRD level in a series of five for new arrivals in the UK wishing to study English.  (Note: do not be confused by the illogical naming of the level by the DfES!)
It is an adult course that takes students from beginner/starter level to a point equivalent to a GCSE in English.
The course is designed to help new arrivals in the UK learn communicative English as quickly as possible.  I focusses on real life scenarios for those living in the UK.  It thus contains a lot of material and subjects not normally covered in general English coursebooks.
It is written and produced by the UK Department of Education and Skills (DfES).

Everything You Need to Know About the Art Leadership: How to Be a Positive Influence in Your Home, School, and Community (Need to Know Library)"The Art of Leadership" is and excellent book for teens interested in taking leadership roles in their school and community. Through examples and scenarios, Cefrey explains to teens how to lead by example and with confidence. I purchased this book for my teenage daughter, and it has been a valuable aid in helping her to gain confidence in public situations. Since then she has become the student body vice president, as well as the captain of the debate team.
