This special edition of the soundtrack from the musical Beauty and the Beast, based on a movie of the same name by studio Disney, features songs sung by its original Broadway cast (many of which weren't presented in the movie itself). The music was written by Alan Menken, with lyrics by Howard Ashman, and, after Ashman died, Tim Rice.
Beast and Man is Mary Midgley's classic study of humanity's place in the order of things. This new edition contains an introduction by Mary Midgley that reflects the impact of the book since its first publication.
