Help your child to link times to landmarks in his day and week. At first, teach the whole hours and progress to half hours when your child understands what half is - cutting up food is a great way to teach this. It is best to start telling the time using the analogue clock face. Later, look at other type of clocks and talk about minutes and seconds.
