Walt Disney's Once Upon a Wintertime

This 1950 Golden Book was adapted by Tom Oreb from the Walt Disney Motion Picture "Melody Time" and is about a couple who go on a sleigh ride on a beautiful winter's day. They stop to go ice skating and the ice where Jenny was skating breaks off, leaving her stranded. Joe tries to come to the rescue but is unsuccessful. Luckily the horses were strong and the birds had good aim with a rope, rescuing Jenny and pulling Jenny to safety.
