Mad weekend

This is a true story. It's about men and football and drink. So it must be true.

There were three men. They were young. There where all twenty when the story starts. Dave, Pat and Ben. They had been friends since they were kids. They went to the same school. They played for the same football team. They drank their first beer from the same bottle. Dave and Pat even got their first kiss from the same girl. Ben didn't, because the girl was his siter. But that's another story.

So. Dave, Pat and Ben were best friends. They were The Lads. They were always together. They went to the same films. They went to the same pubs and clubs.

Once, they even broke their noses on the same night. They where on the last bus home. They were upstairs, in the front seats. A dog ran onto the street. The driver put his foot on the brake. Dave, Pat and Ben hit the window at the same time. Bang, bang and bang.

They loved the same music. They followed the same team.
