If you had a giraffe and he stretched another half . . . you would have a giraffe and a half.

And if you glued a rose to the tip of his nose . . .

And . . . if he put on a shoe and then stepped in some glue . . .

And if he used a chair to comb his hair . . .

 

And so it goes until . . . but that would be telling. Children will be kept in stitches until the very end, when the situation is resolved in the most riotous way possible. Once there lived a king and queen who ruled over a beautiful, peaceful land. They would have been perfectly happy except for one thing- if only they could have a child. The king searched out a wizard in the forest which would cast a spell and allow them to have a child. The wizard asked for 33 bags of gold in payment. The king thought that was too much, and then cheated the wizard by giving him lead instead. Once upon a time there were a brother and sister named Gretchen and Jon. They lived with their cruel stepmother at the edge of the woods. The wicked stepmother not only made them work very hard, but she also made them very little food. Gretchen and Jon decided to run away. The cruel stepmother was really a witch and she cast a spell on the children, that if they drank from a stream or brook they would turn into an animal. As fate would have it, Jon drank from a stream and was transformed into a deer immediately.
