Commutative Algebras of Toeplitz Operators on the Bergman SpaceCommutative Algebras of Toeplitz Operators on the Bergman Space

This book is devoted to the spectral theory of commutative C*-algebras of Toeplitz operators on the Bergman space and its applications. For each such commutative algebra there is a unitary operator which reduces Toeplitz operators from this algebra to certain multiplication operators, thus providing their spectral type representations. This yields a powerful research tool giving direct access to the majority of the important properties of the Toeplitz operators studied herein.

Monotone Operators in Banach Space and Nonlinear Partial Differential EquationsMonotone Operators in Banach Space and Nonlinear Partial Differential EquationsThe objectives of this monograph are to present some topics from the theory of monotone operators and nonlinear semigroup theory which are directly applicable to the existence and uniqueness theory of initial-boundary-value problems for partial differential equations and to construct such operators as realizations of those problems in appropriate function spaces.

Mathematical Analysis: Linear and Metric Structures and Continuity

Mathematical Analysis: Linear and Metric Structures and Continuity This self-contained work on linear and metric structures focuses on studying continuity and its applications.
The book is divided into three parts. The first part introduces the basic ideas of linear and metric spaces, including the Jordan canonical form of matrices and the spectral theorem for self-adjoint and normal operators. The second part examines the role of general topology in the context of metric spaces and includes the notions of homotopy and degree. The third and final part is a discussion on Banach spaces of continuous functions, Hilbert spaces and the spectral theory of compact operators.
