British Writers, Volume 1-8 (vol.8 is an index to volumes 1-7), is a collection of critical essays covering writers who have made significant contributions to British, Irish, and Commonwealth literature from the 14th century to the present day.
The goal of the supplements has been consistent with the original idea of the series: to provide clear, informative essays aimed at the general reader. These essays are meant to introduce a writer of some importance in the history of British or Anglophone literature.

Professor Koslow advances a new account of the basic concepts of logic. A central feature of the theory is that it does not require the elements of logic to be based on a formal language. Rather, it uses a general notion of implication as a way of organizing the formal results of various systems of logic in a simple, but insightful way. The study has four parts. In the first two parts the various sources of the general concept of an implication structure and its forms are illustrated and explained.
