Prealgebra and Introductory Algebra: An Applied Approach
As in previous editions, the focus in PREALGEBRA & INTRODUCTORY ALGEBRA remains on the Aufmann Interactive Method (AIM). Students are encouraged to be active participants in the classroom and in their own studies as they work through the How To examples and the paired Examples and You Try It problems.
Skill Sharpeners Math, Grade 1 Age 6 and up The Skill Sharpeners series offers parents a wonderful opportunity to support what happens in the classroom, inspiring a child’s desire to learn. The skills and concepts presented in Skill Sharpeners are grade appropriate and are aligned to national and state standards.
The weekly themes in Grade 6+ include many topics such as buses, birthdays, houseplants, pet store, garage sale, and weather.
