Beyond the Grave is the fourth book in The 39 Clues series. It came out on June 2, 2009 and it is written by Jude Watson. In it, the protagonists of the series, Amy and Dan Cahill, travel to Egypt because of a clue they discovered in The Sword Thief. In this book, many secrets are revealed, including information about Grace Cahill's past. The symbols in the middle of the book translate "Alistar was there the night they died."
