This text represents a valuable introduction to the theories and practice of Augusto Boal. GFA, unlike its predecessor the Theatre of the Oppressed, contains practical exercises as well as an introduction to the important theoretical work of Boal. Boal's major innovations (such as Forum Theatre and Image Theatre) are introduced, discussed, and illustrated with examples, thus effectively allowing the reader to enter into the dialogue of using and refining the techniques. I would recommend this to any performer, artist, educator, or theatre worker who is unfamiliar with the work of Boal.

The King's English
Had Dickens owned a copy of The King's English he would not have written 'your great ability and trustfulness'; he would have recognized the malapropism and realized that the context demanded trustworthiness. In this classic reference book the Fowler brothers illustrate by examples all the blunders of English usage that are commonly made, and guide the reader to improved expression and style. -- The essential guide to written English

This is a very cute book about a lion and a snake whoa re competing to see who is the smartest and strongest of the kingdom. Horace the lion and Sylvester the snake Boast about all the ways they are better than the other. Until they get into trouble and they have to work together to get free. I would use this book for grades K-3. It would be a great introductory lesson on how we are all different but special in our own way.

Complicity With Evil The United Nations in the Age of Modern
From the killing fields of Rwanda and Srebrenica a decade ago to those of Darfur today, the United Nations has repeatedly failed to confront genocide. This is evinced, author and journalist Adam LeBor maintains, in a May 1995 document from Yasushi Akashi, the most senior UN official in the field during the Yugoslav wars, in which he refused to authorize air strikes against the Serbs for fear they would “weaken” Milosevic. More recently, in 2003, urgent reports from UN officials in the Sudan detailing atrocities from Darfur were ignored for a year because they were politically inconvenient.
