The papers in this volume deal with the issue of how corpus data relate to the questions that cognitive linguists have typically investigated with respect to conceptual mappings. The authors in this volume investigate a wide range of issues - the coherence and function of particular metaphorical models, the interaction of form and meaning, the identification of source domains of metaphorical expressions, the relationship between metaphor and discourse, the priming of metaphors, and the historical development of metaphors. The main elements of the current version of the OECD Glossary are: unique title for the definition; text outlining the actual definition; text outlining the context for the definition, i.e. background information about the definition, appropriate use, etc; detailed source information; classification of each definition to a broad statistical theme; internal cross-links to related definitions, etc., contained elsewhere in the Glossary; URL link to the source of the definition where this is currently located on the internet.

This is a collection of 6 pdf files. 4 of them are about Prepositions and 1 is for Nouns and 1 is for Verbs. All of them are like a picture dictionary for teaching and learning those parts of speech through pictures. So I named them "Parts of Speech through Pictures". They are available in the net ( in most of the cases the source is mentioned) and I choose them for sharing as I believe in the power of visualisation in Learning and Teaching. Think you will agree too.
