The Sociolinguistics of Narrative
This book aims to appraise sociolinguistic work devoted to the form and function of storytelling and to examine in detail the ways in which narrative constitutes a fundamental discursive resource across a range of contexts. The chapters presented here bring together some of the most recent work in the theory and practice of narrative analysis from a broad sociolinguistic perspective. They address some of the questions left implicit whenever stories are brought within the analytic frame of sociolinguistics: What exactly do we mean by 'story'

Radical Construction Grammar: Syntactic Theory in Typological Perspective
This book is based on the results of research in language typology, and motivated by the need for a theory to explain them. Croft proposes intimate links between syntactic and semantic structures, and argues that the basic elements of any language are not syntactic but rather syntactic-semantic "Gestalts". He puts forward a new approach to syntactic representation and a new model of how language and languages work.

Champagne and Meatballs: An Autobiography of Sorts
Brought to light and introduced by editor and historian Larry Hannant, Champagne and Meatballs is Bert Whyte's fascinating memoir written months before his death in Moscow in 1984. Brash, funny, irreverent, and entertaining, it highlights an important perspective on world history while delving into the story of the man who was brave enough to live it.
Incredibly Easy Project Management: A Mildly Heretical Perspective
This book is a management manual with particular emphasis on the control of projects across all sectors of government, civil society and industry. It covers the gamut through planning, organization, responsibility, communication, contracts and montoring.
This textbook is intended to be used in a lecture course for college students majoring in the Earth Sciences. Planetary Science provides an opportunity for these students to apply a wide range of subject matter pertaining to the Earth to the study of other planets of the solar system and their principal satellites. As a result, students gain a wider perspective of the different worlds that are accessible to us and they are led to recognize the Earth as the only oasis in space where we can live without life-support systems.
