He is eventually released and comes to England to join his daughter Lucie, who marries the Frenchman Charles Darnay, a member of the Evremonde family. During the Regin of Terror Darnay travels to Paris on an errand of mercy. He is imprisoned and sentenced to be executed. Can Dr Manette save him?
