Upstream Advanced C1 is a modular secondary-level course for learners of the English language at CEF C1 level. The series combines active English learning with a variety of lively topics presented in themed units.
The series is specially designed for students from intermediate to proficiency level. Each book consists of five modules and provides systematic preparation in all four language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing - required at these levels. The Student´s Book and the Workbook are designed to be covered in approximately 100 to 120 hours of classroom work.

Zestawy zawierają ćwiczenia składające się na część pisemną egzaminu maturalnego. Oprocz ćwiczeń na rozumienie ze słuchu oraz rozumienie tekstu czytanego zamieszczono uwagi dotyczące strategii egzaminacyjnych pomocnych przy rozwiązywaniu testu wielokrotnego wyboru i testu na dobieranie oraz określaniu prawdy lub fałszu, czyli takich rodzajow testow, z jakimi uczeń zetknie się w czasie egzaminu. Podczas matury konieczne będzie też wykazanie się umiejętnością samodzielnego tworzenia krotkiej i dłuższej wypowiedzi pisemnej.
