This series enables students to become confident and fluent readers, this four-level series takes students from Elementary to Upper Intermediate level. It draws on research into what creates good readers and actively addreses the needs of both learners and teachers of reading. It features:

• twelve topic-based units per level the feature varied and highly motivating reading texts.
• a focus on both intensive and extensive reading, with a complete short story per level.
• varied pages for each unit enabling ongoing evaluation of learners’ progress.

21 Century Reading 4 : Student's Book

21st Century Reading was created through a partnership between TED, a nonprofit dedicated to spreading ideas through short, powerful talks and National Geographic Learning. 21st Century Reading provides the ideal forum for learners of English to make connections with topics ranging from science to business to global issues. Using TED Talks as the springboard to share ideas, this new four-level reading series shows learners how to understand and respond to ideas and content in English. 

Short Vowel All-in-One Reading Passages are the perfect addition to any primary classroom. They can be used for skill practice, reading comprehension, fluency, cold reads, assessment, homework and more!

Each passage focuses on one short vowel word family (as seen in left corner). It includes a story, picture clue, and questions that require students to cite evidence.
