Once Upon a Time Long, Long AgoOnce Upon a Time Long, Long Ago

This story for the younger reader, set in the period some 50,000 years ago when an almost explosive change in people's behaviour occurred, addresses these questions. From this period on, people, the Cro-Magnon or Homo sapiens sapiens who are considered to be our ancestors, became what we term human. This recreated story presents a sister and brother in a sequence of events that fits what little is known about that time.

Originating in India, the Gypsies arrived in Europe around the 14th century, spreading not only across the entirety of the continent but also immigrating to the Americas. Ideas in Western Culture - The Medieval and Renaissance WorldTaught by Ori Soltes
The medieval period is the bridge between antiquity and modernity. During these centuries the Roman Empire and its barbarian fringes become Europe... The medieval period is an age of enchantment and chivalric love, it is an age of knights and crusaders, clerics and common people. We see their images in powerful works of art—paintings, sculptures, and soaring cathedrals— and their voices echo in diverse literature—travel books, epic poems and sagas, theological dialogues, passion plays, and drinking songs.
