Ordinary Differential Equations Using MATLAB,3rd Edition
This is a superb supplement, written by one of the leaders of using technology in the ODE course, that can be wrapped with any Prentice Hall Differential Equations text at a reduced price
This document is a LaTeX file of 108 pages which contains a lot of equations in physics. It is written at advanced undergraduate/postgraduate level. It is intended to be a short reference for anyone who works with physics and often needs to look up equations.
This volume forms a record of the lectures given at this International Conference. Under the general heading of the equations of mathematical physics, contributions are included on a broad range of topics in the theory and applications of ordinary and partial differential equations, including both linear and non-linear equations. The topics cover a wide variety of methods, and a equally wide variety of equations including the Laplace equation, Navier-Stokes equations, Boltzmann's equation, reaction-diffusion equations, Schroedinger equations and certain non-linear wave equations.
The book provides a self-contained and accessible introduction to the subject. It starts with an introduction to integrability of ordinary and partial differential equations.
