The International Society for Geriatric Oncology (SIOG) has been happy to help in the task of developing this volume, which was initiated by Dirk Schrijvers, Branko Zakotnik, Riccardo Audisio, Hendrik van Halteren, Arti Hurria, and the undersigned.
