The four coursebooks in the Open to Life series have been developed according to the Common European Framework for Languages and are appropriate for early adolescents. The series covers the CEF Levels: A1, A1+, A2, B1.
The four coursebooks have incorporated the latest technologies, such as cam-to-cam and blogs. There is a wide range of themes incorporating different lifestyles, cultural diversity, human values with respect to the self and others, critical thinking and a global view.

Spoken and Functional language
Pronunciation and a variety of other material (poems, quotations, jokes, optical illusions etc)
Open to Knowledge
A reading text followed by a variety of reading comprehension tasks
Authentic material(adverts, posters etc) with a comprehension task
Open to Vocabulary
Several tasks based on the lexical items in the texts
Open to Grammar
Grammar presentation tables(with detailed explanation s in the Appendix) and a variety of grammar tasks
Open to Communication
Speaking tasks with useful expressions and language
Listening tasks based on real-life situations
A variety of writing tasks with a model, a plan, and a useful language
Open to Culture
Visual prompts with discussion questions to show the diversity of culture around the world
