The Words You Should Know

Many of the words in this book are words you hear all the time and probably know in context, but you might not necessarily know the strict definition of them. David Olsen allows you to understand and master these words instead of somewhat knowing them, allowing you to use them with confidence.

The Words You Should Know is a useful book for students studying for the SAT or for adults looking to brush up on their word skills. Like many of the books I’ve detailed here on Word Skit, The Words You Should Know is a nice book to have laying around the house. Anytime you need some light reading, you can pick it up and learn a few words, then toss it aside until the next time you’ve got a minute or two.
