A Good Turn of Phrase: Advanced Idiom Practice A Good Turn of Phrase is a 2-part series of full-color books that offer comprehensive presentation and extensive practice of commonly used idioms, phrasal verbs and prepositional phrases at an advanced level. The books are suitable for use in the classroom or for self-study. Book 1 ( Advanced Idiom Practice) contains 15 units each presenting and practicing English idioms in current use. Idioms are presented in context through dialogues, articles, letters and extracts, and are then tested in such activities as "key-word" transformation, multiple choice, gap filling, word matching, crosswords and picture discussion. A glossary listing all the idioms featured is included at the back of the book.
The book aims to air ideas about Western modern theatre, to explain, to illustrate, to stimulate. Its basic premise is that theatre and drama offer a unique combination of thinking and doing, and that anybody who tries to practise it, at however simple a level, will gain by it. This book tries to suggest the links between theory and practice (which explains why some chapters move from the very theoretical suddenly into the absolutely hands-on practical).

The General Graduate Record Exam (GRE), or GRE General Test, is the primary standardized test for admission to graduate-level academic programs in the United States. The exam is designed and administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS), the same company that produces the SAT. Taking the GRE is a skill. It shares some aspects with other endeavors, such as competing in athletics. It requires discipline and practice to succeed. These are skills that can be improved through coaching, but ultimately, improvement also requires practice. This book gives you both.
