SuperMemo UX "PL/EN" *PORTABLE*What is SuperMemo
SuperMemo is a method of computer-aided learning based on research in long-term memory. It provides the learner with optimum plan of repetitions while studying. Repetitions are crucial to knowledge retention as they prevent forgetting. By analysing the processes of retention and forgetting individually for each user, SuperMemo finds the optimum timing for review of the learned material. Each information is set with a unique pattern of review and repetition. With SuperMemo, you waste no time on repeating material you remember well.

Memory, History, ForgettingMemory, History, Forgetting

Memory, History, Forgetting, like its title, is divided into three major sections. Ricoeur first takes a phenomenological approach to memory and mnemonical devices. The underlying question here is how a memory of present can be of something absent, the past. The second section addresses recent work by historians by reopening the question of the nature and truth of historical knowledge. Ricoeur explores whether historians, who can write a history of memory, can truly break with all dependence on memory, including memories that resist representation.

Memory and forgetting are inextricably intertwined. In order to understand how memory works we need to understand how and why we forget. The topic of forgetting is therefore hugely important, despite the fact that it has often been neglected in comparison with other features of memory.
This volume addresses various aspects of forgetting, drawing from several disciplines, including experimental and cognitive psychology, cognitive and clinical neuropsychology, behavioural neuroscience, neuroimaging, clinical neurology, and computational modeling.
