This is one of those books that absolutely must be read by anyone remotely interested in the biographical life of a major movie star. It was the first time I have read anything by Shawn Levy and I believe he is one of the best at his genre working today. The book, an unauthorized biography, is almost six hundred pages long and gives the reader not only the complete run of pictures of De Niro but also gives a fair amount of information regarding his three wives, children, and the many work projects around New York and many other locations for which he has an interest.
