This book is an excellent purchase for anyone looking to maintain a healthy lifestyle during their midlife and beyond. It is very informative and easy to read. Whether you're starting from scratch and trying to get back in shape, or a competitive athlete just looking for a few tips, this is the book for you. I highly recommend this book.
It's set in the years 1883-1942 and is basically about a woman who marries late in life (27, old at that time). she finally meets and marries a man who on paper, seems to be a good match. But she finds that he's more interested in his work than her and she's just as lonely as she was before they married. I don't want to give too much away but this is a great historical fiction book by a talented author. The main character seems never to get a break as one tragedy after another seem to follow her from beginning to end. Definitely one of those books that left me wanting more.
