It is an American remake of the British mini-series from 2006 (the one of 4 episodes only, starring Patrick Stewart aka Captain Picard from the Starship Enterprise :P)). The American series of 18 episodes is definitely more Hollywoodian in style, and adressed to younger public. A government scientist and his attractive counterpart try to save people from deadly scientific experiments...
