William Shakespeare's Macbeth is another tragic tale involving ambition, fate and deception. Three witches decide to confront the great Scottish general Macbeth on his victorious return from a war between Norway and Scotland. The witches predict he will one day be king. Macbeth and his wife murder the Scottish king Duncan and blame the sleeping guards. A nobleman MacDuff discovers the truth and in turn kills Macbeth and becomes king himself.
The Setting is England in the late nineteenth century.
