Entry 2 Skills for Life ESOL  is the SECOND level in a series of five for new arrivals in the UK wishing to study English.  (Note: do not be confused by the illogical naming of the level by the DfES!)
It is an adult course that takes students from beginner/starter level to a point equivalent to a GCSE in English.
The course is designed to help new arrivals in the UK learn communicative English as quickly as possible.  I focusses on real life scenarios for those living in the UK.  It thus contains a lot of material and subjects not normally covered in general English coursebooks.

New English File ESOL Teacher's Resource Book Entry 1-2

The book is aimed at new or established ESOL teachers using New English File Elementary. When writing these resources we set out to extend, adapt,
and contextualize the material in  New English FileElementaryto the UK ESOL context. The resources can also be used as stand-alone material in ESOL
classes. We, the authors, have many years experience of teaching ESOL in the UK. The resources are inspired by the kind of tried and tested material we
have been creating and using in the ESOL classroom.
