Van Nostrand's Scientific Encyclopedia, 10th Edition (3 Volume Set)
First published in 1938, this desktop science encyclopedia has been published in two volumes beginning with the sixth edition. It is edited by Douglas Considine and Glenn Considine. Distinguished in their respective fields of engineering and information management, they are also the editors of several other well-known technical reference books . Approximately 250 scientists, engineers, and educators from eight different countries contributed to this new edition.

The ten books of exercises which accompany the author’s A Practical English Grammar have been combined into two volumes. This volume contains Books 4, 7, 8,9 , and 10. Book 4 is grouped with Book 7 in order to bring together the work on prepositions.
Book 8 takes the work of Book 1 further by including work on the Past Perfect.
