A Big Sky Christmas
In the fall of 1873, a wagon train of immigrants sets off from Kansas City, Missouri, bound for the Montana Territory. Leading the group is newly elected wagon master Jamie Ian MacCallister, a giant of a man and frontier legend who swears he can get them there by Christmas.
On Clifford's first Christmas Eve, he helps the family trim the tree, but even after he's tucked into bed, he just can't sleep. He goes out to investigate, but accidentally falls into Emily Elizabeth's stocking! Who do you think comes to his rescue? Santa, of course!
Dragon tries to make Christmas special each year. He picks the perfect tree and buys the perfect presents. But Dragon just can't bring himself to cut down a tree, and as he walks home from his shopping trip, he gives away his gifts to needier creatures. Dragon's sweet antics paired with Dav Pilkey's bright illustrations will warm readers' hearts as they laugh out loud. Dragon's Merry Christmas is truly a Christmas story to be read each year.

Christmas by Gilbert Keith Chesterton from "All things considered"
Эссе Г.Честертона, изложенное, как всегда, в сатирическом, парадоксальном ключе. I cannot understand the people who take literature seriously; but I can love them, and I do. Out of my love I warn them to keep clear of this book.” This is how Chesterton introduces his 1908 collection of essays called All Things Considered.
