We designed this book with you in mind. Whether you are enrolled in introduction to sociology, an elective course, or you are a sociology major with some courses completed, this opportunity is a chance for you to explore in depth some of the most important ideas in the discipline. Your instructors are giving time in their courses for you to do these hands-on exercises in and out of class. Research shows that any time you actually get to do something, you understand it better.
This pictionary explains various GRE words using pictures. Each picture is associated with a headword and a short audio explanation of that word along with some related words. Each new word is spelled out and given ample examples as a cue to your memory. It's actually a flash program. I made video and audio out of it to use in your mp3/mp3/dvd players.
Abbie Adams is a witch. She can't tell anyone, even her best friend, Callie, who notices Abbie acting strange. Instead she uses memory-erasing spells to keep things under control. Abbie hopes for some normalcy when her father brings home a kitten, but when Abbie looks into its eyes, she sees a trapped boy. Now Abbie needs her magic more than ever. Saving him becomes even more important when her family realizes the kitten is actually the young Thomas Edison. The world will be a much different place if they can't return him to create his famous inventions!

Merde Actually
A year after arriving in France, Englishman Paul West is still struggling with some fundamental questions: What is the best way to scare a gendarme? Paul opens his English tea room, and mutates (temporarily) into a Parisian waiter; samples the pleasures of typically French hotel-room afternoons; and, on a return visit to the UK, sees the full horror of a British office party through Parisian eyes.
