A fantastical alliterative journey through the animal kingdom with thousands of alphabetically-arranged images and ideas to discover along the way, from An Armoured Armadillo, though Great Green Gorillas to Zany Zebra's Zigzagging in Zinc Zeppelins.

Each letter of the alphabet gets the same treatment. ‘Animalia’ is Latin for “animal kingdom”, so animals are used in the letter themes. Each page contains a phrase using alliteration that alludes to the animal for the page. The page also contains a large illustration of the animal. The page is then completed with a large number of illustrations of items that begin with the letter.
