Beyond Multiculturalism: Views from Anthropology

The case studies address multiculturalism in urban everyday life, focusing on the intersections and relationships between cultural groups. Using employment, identity, consumption, language, legislation and policymaking, the contributors show the unique contribution that anthropologists can bring to studies of multiculturalism. Their work will be of great interest to scholars of race, ethnicity, migration, urban studies and social and cultural geography.
