Often the hardest part of studying a language is staying motivated. Ideally learning should be enjoyable, which is why we try our very best to create English lessons that are not only effective, but also entertaining (not to mention zany!).
Bob and Rob both live in Japan and teach English at Japanese universities . Bob (with glasses): I'm from the West Coast of the United States. I lived in California until I was six, and then spent the next 16 years living in Oregon and Washington state. I graduated from college in 1992 with a degree in Industrial Technology, and received my masters in TESOL in 1996. I currently live in Kyushu, Japan with my wife and son. I like to hike, windsurf, read, and fiddle around with computers in my free time.
Rob: Hi, my name's Rob and I'm from North London. However, although I'm British, I have dual nationality because my parents are Italian. That means I have 2 passports; one British, one Italian. I visited Italy many times while growing up, but lived most of my life in London except for my 3 years at University in Wales. Shortly after graduating, back in 1992, I came to Japan mainly for 2 reasons. First, I wanted to get more teaching experience. Second, I wanted to do a martial art. I have been here near Tokyo ever since.
Extra Information from Original Uploader: Good podcasts, I listen to myself with great pleasure. All very fun, lively way, interesting. I recommend to all.
