Beaded Critters

Half of the projects in the book are wire projects which I was not interested in. This book does not discuss different types of threads, beads, or pliers. I did not find this book informative at all. I would not recommend this book to anyone.

I haven't been beading very long and thought I might have to shelve this until I got 'better'. Imagine my surprise when I found that after a couple of trials and errors, I was able to make the hummingbird without much stress.

The drawn instructions are incredibly clear, broken down into manageable steps, and very easy to follow. If there is one drawback (and it's a minor one) it's that not all the written instructions are on the same page as the drawings, but after a short time this ceased to be a problem. If you're a visual learner like I am, this is just the book for you!

Another huge asset of this book is that I haven't found any of the materials used to be so unusual I couldn't find them without a Google search.

I love this book, and highly recommend it to those looking for a break from jewelry making.
