Is it dangerous to have all the information distribution channels in a few hands and out of popular control? Ben Bagdikian, a Pulitzer Prize winner, has written a book that answers this question in the affirmative and gives loads of examples. The book also questions the established order of distributing information and focuses on bias well-rooted in the practices of present-day journalism in the United States. The book also reveals how, in the situation of multitude of channels, newspapers, magazines, there is not that much diversity in the information we get from the media.
