Each quiz is worth 20 points.
Part A focuses on key vocabulary items from the Student Book readings. Part A usually has five items worth 1 point each.
In cases where there are ten items, each item is worth a half point.Part B tests the important grammatical structures and functions that occur in the Student Book readings. Part B has five items worth 1 point each.
Part C has two comprehension questions worth 5 points each. These questions test students' understanding of the themes and content of the readings.
Each quiz takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.
