The City & the City is the title of a fantasy/weird fiction novel by British author China Miéville. It was published by Tor on 15 May 2009. In the US it was published by Del Rey Books on 26 May 2009.
This richly illustrated book provides step-by-step folding instructions for the construction of over 40 modular origami creations. The author describes how to fold the modules and how to use them as building blocks to construct larger polyhedral models. These beautiful designs are elaborate three-dimensional geometric patterns, some resembling stars or flowers.
