When I started reading this I began to realize why many stores wont carry it. There is undisputable proof backed up with documentation of the most sinister evil by men and women in high places! If there is one book that will be most referenced for other authors and already has from other books Ive read its this book. He interviews people who were involved with the Illuminati and have come forward to expose the evil that will be hard to stomach when you realize its grip on the world through history and to this day! One of those books you will reference over and over for its wealth of knowledge and all the familiar names within!
YA Puzzles and problems concerning poker chips, presidents, tennis balls, missing letters, ancient coins and other oddities are gathered here. Townsend has culled this assortment from the past 100 years of puzzle publications and cites Victorian writer Angelo Lewis, better known as Professor Hoffman, as the best and most prolific source. Each puzzle is presented on a single page and illustrated with an appropriate and often humorous black-and-white drawing. Answers are included at the back. There is mental entertainment, magic, math, and more in this collection of classic tricks and problems.
Kurt Goedel, the greatest logician of our time, startled the world of mathematics in 1931 with his Theorem of Undecidability, which showed that some statements in mathematics are inherently "undecidable." His work on the completeness of logic, the incompleteness of number theory, and the consistency of the axiom of choice and the continuum theory brought him further worldwide fame. In this introductory volume, Raymond Smullyan, himself a well-known logician, guides the reader through the fascinating world of Goedel's incompleteness theorems.
I love this book of puzzles. The writing makes you feel like your hanging out with the author, enjoying the puzzles together. There are a lot of great puzzles in here, as well as good writing. This book begins with "A word of welcome-- and of warning" from the author.
